MANILA, PHILIPPINES September 1, 2007. Mr. Ramon Aguilar, Q-Linux’s Senior Trainor and Product Specialist, recently gave a talk about LINUX and the use of Open Source Software.

Ramon gave a brief introduction to LINUX and shared insights on the advantages of using LINUX over other existing platforms. The informative session gave the PLM students, most of which were novice LINUX users, better insight and knowledge into the operating system.

The event was held at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) Justo Albert Auditorium last September 1, 2007. This was organized by the College of Computer Science. The said conference was attended by students from across different IT courses, as well as from some engineering courses.

The theme for the conference was “LINUX @ 0 Degrees: Breaking the Ice.”
